No oven Holiday has been fun so far.  Here is just one of the little treats that the Munchkins and I made .  Samoa Bark from Cookies and Cups looked soooo yummy that I knew we had to try them.  {Please visit her blog and find other yummy treats to eat} We had to make one modification ~ NO Coconuts so I think this went from Samoa Bark to something similar to Twix bark ^_^ So here we are real

This is a wonderfully delicious and hearty quick bread to make this fall. Hubby getting prepped for minor surgery ~ Little munchkins running around the bed asking what all the levers, wires, and tubes were for.  Pumpkin's major concern were shots. A large book bag full of little activities for the girls to do. Our little rainbow in the waiting room made me smile :)  Starbucks in the lobby was greatly appreciated while waiting and keeping up to date on Hubby's status

The count down to the first day of school has begun but what to do with the girls until then?!?!?  It is summer and HOT here in Texas so indoor activities are a MUST.  Well we came up with knitting since they noticed my unused needles in my work basket.  Finger knitting is easy for little ones and cheap ~ all you need are their lovely little fingers and some yarn.   Gotta love Youtube ;) This

  It is way tooo hot here in Texas to have the Munchkins outside to capture a bubble photo for the challenge.  Have no fear!  On a trip out to lunch the other day and we passed a little waterfall and all those bubbles made the girls giggle and want to wade in the water ;) To see more lovely happy bubble photos pop over to Live and Love .... Red Velvet + Brownies = Heaven ;)  This is was a very easy and fun recipe to put together with the Munchkins and when it was all done there was finally peace and quiet in the house.  The girls were too busy enjoying their brownies to even have idle chit chat at the table, this is a sure sign that the recipe is a keeper.  Peanut finally learned how to break an egg WITHOUT getting it all over
