But someday you will be old enough to start reading fairytales again.

Sunday Citar

Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.  It turns what we have to enough and more.  It turns denial into acceptance, chaos into order, confusion to clarity.  It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.  Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.

“I have come to the frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element. It is my personal approach that creates the climate. It is my daily mood that makes the weather. I possess tremendous power to make life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration, I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis is escalated or de-escalated, and a person is humanized or de-humanized. If we treat people as they are, we make them worse. If we treat people as they ought to be, we help them become what they are capable of becoming"
~ Goethe

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life.  Don't be trapped by dogma ~ which is living with the results of other people's thinking.  Don't let the noise of others opinion drown out your own inner voice.  And most important have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.  They somehow already know what you truly want to become.
Everything else is secondary.
Steve Jobs

“Our treatment of others says a lot about who we are; it puts our character on display to the world, and advertises whether our hearts are selfish or loving. Those who are on our path are easily hurt, us included. We must strive to behave in a loving way towards everyone as often as we possibly can. As human beings we are vulnerable, and deserve to be treated as the sacred beings we are. “~ Spirit Speaks in Whispers

If your head tells you one thing and your heart tells you another, before you do anything decide first whether you have a better head or a better heart.

Happy Mothers Day :)

Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the wide world over.

A quiet mind can truly listen to others
It does not feel the need to form responses while another speaks.
It simply listens and gently responds in the moment because it has the clarity to do so.
