Girl Trip 2010 ~ part 1

I got it into my head that I could take the girls this summer to visit ALL of their Grandparents.  The girls have a total of five homes to visit and only two are in the same state.  Hubby was kind enough to let us leave for a total of four weeks to visit everyone.  My Japanese photo snapping genes were in full force over the trip and I will not bore you with the roughly 1,800+ photos. Now that I am back at home and have consistent internet access we can show you a glimpse of our trip.

First stop on  our trip was to visit the girls Granny in ....

Yes, we did try to get a photo at EVERY state line.  Operative word TRY.

I did have the chance to take some artsy fartsy photos while walking around Granny's property.  These little beauties were on the side of the very long winding drive way.  What do you think?  I have more that I am going to be playing with and will post later ;)

The Munchkins and their cousins had a blast splishing and splashing in a natural spring.  Granny lives right off this road and it is so peaceful and the kiddos all had fun just going out and exploring.  100 yards from her drive we took a right into the trees and we were at the little swimming hole.  A little place of heaven on a hot and sticky day :)

For some reason I love this photo!  Copper and the Munchkins feet are so cute.  They were all brushing him and then they were able to get on and take a little ride.  He is such a patient and sweet horse, think helping with the horses was one of their favorite things to do while there.

Next stop... Maryland to visit Grandpa and Halmeoni (girls just pronounced it Harmony).
