Yummy Nosh : Chocolate Eclair Cake

I was notified by Pumpkin that it was Buddy Bear's birthday which of course means a birthday party with CAKE ^_^.  With no oven an Ice Box cake was going to have to be it and with summer coming might not be a bad idea to try out a recipe to avoid the extra heat in the coming months.

Lets meet our main characters....

2 small {3.4 oz} French vanilla instant pudding
1 box of Graham crackers
3 Cups 2 % milk { whole milk is preferable and save the skim for your cereal}
8 oz Cool Whip Original
1 16 oz container chocolate frosting

Method... {sorry no photos with Spring Break and the Girls running around in the kitchen and my elbows in pudding did not want to risk dropping the camera}

1.  Grease a large pan with butter
2. Place a layer of crackers at the bottom
3. Mix the milk with the pudding for 2 minutes then fold in the Cool Whip
4.  Add half ish of the pudding mixture on the crackers
5.  Add another layer of crackers
6.  Pour in the rest of the pudding mixture on top of the second layer of crackers
7.  Top of with crackers
8.  Heat the frosting for 30 seconds in microwave then spread on the last layer of crackers going to the edges of the pan
9.  Cover and place into the fridge for at a minimum 4 hours {better the next day}

The Munchkins with the Birthday Bear  ^_^

Verdict...

Even Buddy Bear loved it!
We hope you guys love this evil, I mean delicious creation.

Be Sweet

Source: google.com via Sasha on Pinterest

Being tender and open is beautiful. As a woman, I feel continually shhh’ed. Too sensitive. Too mushy. Too wishy washy. Blah blah. Don’t let someone steal your tenderness. Don’t allow the coldness and fear of others to tarnish your perfectly vulnerable beating heart. Nothing is more powerful than allowing yourself to truly be affected by things. Whether it’s a song, a stranger, a mountain, a rain drop, a tea kettle, an article, a sentence, a footstep, feel it all – look around you. All of this is for you. Take it and have gratitude. Give it and feel love.
Zooey Deschanel

   A little reminder that there is something beautiful all around if we just stop long enough to notice and more importantly say a heartfelt "Thank You" with intention. Also for my Hubby ~ I cry at a drop of a beautiful note or a passage in a wonderfully told story ~ that my soft squishy heart is just one of the many reasons why he married me.

Monday Music ~ Safe and Sound

New song from the lovely Taylor Swift, which the girls absolutely adore.  I love this song it is a bit melancholy and sad but when you consider that it is part of the Hunger Games Soundtrack it's perfect.

We hope that you enjoy this song and are wondering if you are excited about seeing the Hunger Game movie?   I am a bit curious to see how the movie will be compared to the book, I generally tend to like the books over the movies.

Gray sky = trip to library

Getting ready to pick up ALL the Munchkin's from school to start our Spring break.  I use that term loosely considering it is gray, windy, and about 40ish degrees outside.   Which warrants a quick lunch out with my little Ladies then off to get lost in stacks at the library.

Wishing everyone a great weekend ^_^

DIY facial

 Take some aspirin {if allergic to aspirin or pregnant/breastfeeding please consult MD PRIOR to using this mask} and lemon juice.

Place about 6-10 aspirin in a dish and squeeze a little juice or plain water onto the tablets.  You will want to get this to a paste like consistency and I found that I had to play around with the amount of tablets and juice.  Just remember to use a little bit of juice.  I did try smashing the tablets in a baggy first ~ the girls had fun but I found that letting them dissolve in the juice is so much easier and cleaner ^_^  What to do with the rest of the lemon?  Slice and put it into your water to help with reach your 8 a day.

WARNING!

If you have small children or weak constitution beware of next image!

Place onto your face keeping clear of your eyes and mouth {does not taste great believe me} and let dry.
When you are flaky rinse with warm water in a circular motion to help with removing dry skin and all the yucky stuff.  I love this mask and have been using it about two to three times a week since I have really oily and problematic skin.  I found that my skin is smoother and less shiny afterwards even up to the next day and the breakouts have been less embarrassing for someone of my age.

Another benefit... the girls DISLIKE this mask when I have it on and walking around the house.  They tend to ignore me so on those days when you would like to have a bit of quiet put this mask on and see if your kiddos avoid you like the Plague and will give you about 10 minutes of peace ^_^

Do you have a favorite DIY mask or cleanser?

Do you ever feel this way?

Source: kwejk.pl via Weronika on Pinterest

I know I do.
Stopped The Night Circus since Hubby bought me a copy of my very own once he found out how in love with the story I am.  Right now I'm impatiently waiting for Mr. Brown to deliver our package so I can once again visit the circus ^_^

What story are you lost in or just finished?

'And so the lives we make are all that matter, so let's live to love and love to live.'

Love this song right now and we hope that you have found a new tune to add to your playlist this week.

Sunday Citar

 Each second we live is a new and unique moment of the universe, a moment that will never be again. And what do we teach our children? We teach them that two and two make four, and that Paris is the capital of France. When will we also teach them what they are? We should say to each of them: Do you know what you are? You are a marvel. You are unique. In all the years that have passed, there has never been another child like you. Your legs, your arms, the way you move. You may become a Shakespeare, a Michelangelo, a Beethoven. You have the capacity for anything. Yes, you are a marvel. And when you grow up, can you then harm another who is, like you, a marvel? You must work, we must all work, to make the world worthy of its children.
