I had a plan....

Have you ever decided to cook something that is one of your Mom's specialties and end up calling her to make sure you are doing things right?!?!?  Well that was me!  I called Mom about 6 times while trying to make Okinawan Soba.  My brilliant plan was to do it the easy way and follow the instructions on the package but I was guilt tripped into doing it the correct way.

So after about three hours of standing in the kitchen, SEVERAL phone calls and three famished Munchkins requesting an ETA this is what I accomplished.

YUMMY!  There was A LOT of slurping and Mmmm's around the table and ONE more phone call back to Mom to let her know the result.
