Make Overs

Taking advantage of having Mom around to watch the Munchkins I stole away and saw a Beautician to get a MUCH needed hair cut.

Here we are after our make over ;)

Everyone Loved my hair cut except for Pumpkin.... she was scared it would not be long enough for her to play and twirl with while we snuggle on the sofa.   So what do you think?!?!

Since Mommy got a new do the girls had the need to get a makeover and play with my sisters makeup.   So after some help from their Autie here are my Three Super Models ... sorry for the fuzzy photo but it is REALLY hard to take a good photo when you are dying with laughter!!

 Squirt, Pumpkin and Peanut at the end of the runway.  Love the over shoulder look... kills me!

Okay now how many face wipes does it take to take off 8 hour lip stick?  One....Two... Three... we are going to be here awhile!

I glimpsed Heaven and it is BLUE!

Not sure about you guys but we have blueberries coming out of our ears and we are loving it!!!  Pumpkin loves to eat her little "baskets" so when we came home from the market we had 2 more pints to go with the 2 we already had at home.

WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THESE BERRIES?!?!?  

First we picked through some to freeze for Hubby's shakes he makes.  Then we went to the bloggy world and came away with this gem from Confabulation in the Kitchen.  She had a posting for a Blueberry Cobbler and when the Munchkins glimpsed the photos they squealed with delight.  Mentally I chanted ....WHY NOT!?!?

Okay here is my attempt at this beautiful cobbler and fingers crossed that it is Yummy to boot.

Okay these are the berries that I was able to keep the girls from eating ;)  Pretty hun?!?!

Sorry I did not have beautiful step by step photos... I really need to practice photographing food when I am not hungry or when Hubby is trying to run off the the subjects ;)

I have just hit the floor!!!  This IS some D _____ Good Nosh!  As you can tell I hated it! 

Do not pass Go or Collect 200 dollars go straight to  Confabulation in the Kitchen   for her recipe and the photos that tempted all the women in this house.

Oh! Just one note.... I cut the sugar in half, went a little over on the vanilla and amount of blueberries, and did not add the sugar cinnamon on top.

You know it is going to be a GREAT day when you find out you won something while reading thru posts in your Reader.  What did I win?!?! A beautiful necklace from a very creative jeweler and Mama at Jewel scapes .  I could not wait till I received the necklace plus the way she presented the winner is just Brilliant!  The girls and I were reading this one together and when we reached the bottom Squirt yelled "Mama that is YOU!!!"  Peanut was concerned "Why is your name there?!?!" and of course Pumpkin was just happy to be in the middle of all the hubbub ;)
